Ian specialises in commercial laws, corporate laws and employment laws, with a focus on corporate and commercial transactions, compliance, commercial litigation and employment dispute resolutions.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Laws from the China University of Political Science and Law (China), a Master of Laws from the Cornell University (United States of America) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Sydney (Australia). Ian also holds a Legal Profession Qualification Certificate to practice law in China and a Practising Certificate to practice law in the United States of America.
Before joining JurisBridge Legal, Ian gained extensive experience working for King & Wood Mallesons, a leading law firm in China, where he led a team of lawyers in a broad range of commercial transactions including initial public offering, mergers and acquisitions, private funds and compliance.
Ian is fluent in English and Mandarin.
